Paris

Paris

Two weeks across all the subway lines from quarter to quarter. Blending into the colourful, multicultural city where everything is possible. Evening picnics next to the Seine but also daily hard work. My real Paris starts somewhere in the 18th arrondissement where cultures and smells mix.

Somewhere nowhere

Somewhere nowhere

Things have been busy over here. Revisiting, returning, hurry and a bit of stress. I particularly feel the best if my days here are full, if things are happening and I’m in the unstoppable circle of all. I’m enjoying the pulsing streets of the old town, the coffees and friends, the everyday sunsets from the train.

Returning to Moldova

Returning to Moldova

It's Saturday and I’m writing these words in a cold, rainy afternoon that is just like most of our days in Moldova. I still remember our first visit in the last winter’s -20 degrees. We decided to return as we wanted to see more, this time hoping for the smell of...

The art of keeping

The art of keeping

I do love minimalism. I love it in photography, in functional design, in the misty seasides and in stories, too. The only field of my everyday life I was struggling with it was keeping things. I was looking at the pictures of perfectly minimalist homes, reading the...

Sounds of Israel, part II.

Sounds of Israel, part II.

A quiet camp, everything is still, only a stripped cat is searching for some food next to the fireplace. We are waking up to cross the empty town and catch the first lights of the sunrise. The desert wind is drawing goosebumps on our skin while I’m taking photographs...

Sounds of Israel, part I.

Tired of the winter, we tried to escape it on the curvy roads of Israel, changing the boundaries of routine to the chaos of colours, smells and noises. Coming from the cold of -20°C, the land spotted with palms we see stepping out of the plane in Tel Aviv seems almost...

I feel like these cold November days exist for finishing and summarizing photos and memories. So I went through some of those everyday adventures captured with my phone, thinking again about time on the road or the places I spend my ordinary days at. More photos from...

Postcards from Gdansk, part II.

The last seagulls flying above the storm following the waves: the crowded seaside is transforming. A distant feel of Scandinavia and its stillness in our mind. Many stories to follow: two quiet fishermen, a silently waiting old boat, people singing in the hidden...
